I never really considered this bike, but it certainly has some unique features.
Looks more like a mountain bike than a touring bike.
Price $849.00
alu frame
26" tires
disc brakes
trekking bar
sus seat post
48/36/26 gearing
rear rack

Opinions ?

I've got an 03 or 04, (I bought it as a leftover in 05, not sure of the year it was really built), but I love it. I went car-free in April last year, and my bike has gotten me everywhere. In the last 18 months, I am probably near 10,000 miles and the bike has had zero problems. I did change the seat and bar, and put on fenders, plus wear items like brake pads, chain, and cables.

Believe it or not, I would probably take that bike touring over my Jamis Aurora. The alu frame would simply require a Brooks Champion flyer or a good suspension seat post and your're set.
