I don't normally keep beer around, but I too don't mind a nip on tour and the Quebec option was pretty cool. I'd have happy hour after visiting the grocery store.

On the grow up and distribute the stuff thing, I guess my feeling would be that it's fine with me if it worked out like it does in Quebec. That can be a bit like banking on the recently liberated picking up on democracy, some do a great job others fall apart. There are a lot of retail models that turn out pretty grody. Some places seem to end up with hole in the wall stores, and all the robberies you can eat. Also Ontario has a wonderful history of blowing P&Ps so at the end of the day you have less competition, less choice, more cost, usually a billion dollar lawsuit from someone who didn't get chosen but went through the RFP process with high hopes, and a NAFTA suit.
