red chris king on a blue LHT?

I'm starting to spec out my build of a Surly LHT. I've decided to go with a chris king headset, and I was wondering how you guys think a red headset would look on the blue LHT frame. I think I'm going to go with red Arkel panniers and I think it'd be cool to have a red/white/blue theme. Any positive/negative thoughts appreciated.

The blue isn't really blue. It's very grey. I love and own that color, but I did a black King headset.

I think that would look great. I did the black King headset on my red LHT, sort of going for a Dracula-effect.

I did the silver King headset. Like eve said, the blue really isn't blue it is more battleship grey. I don't know if it is the Red/White/Blue you would be looking for, but it might still look cool.

Red makes you go faster.

On a serious note, red anodizing on the King will be a different red than Arkels. So if you are going for a perfect color match, it's not going to happen.

Red anodized parts eventually become pink. I'd stick with silver or black.

I've noticed that it's a very pale blue, and i know it won't perfectly match the arkel panniers but it was just a thought. How about this...a blue chris king on the red (which is dark, i know) LHT?
