That may be a weaker hub, since all it seems to have is a longer axle. I did think it would be fun though to build a solo with the 165, just to have the only one!
I haven't looked at the hub shell of a tandem hub to say if it's just a longer axle or not. Considering what a tandem has to haul, I'd suspect that the shell is wider so you could make a wheel with less dish.
