Kettle Valley Railway?

I was looking at a journal on Crazyguy about the Kettle Valley Railway. It looks very interesting. However, in doing some research I kept running across the fact that the Myra Canyon trestles had burned in 2003, but were supposed to be replaced in 2007.

Does anyone know the status of that section? Any first-hand knowledge of this route would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Bikes: I tour on a Waterford Adventurecycle. It is a fabulous touring bike.

Try this link: https://www.telusplanet.net/~dan/

It appears to have recent news and other information about the Kettle Valley Railway.

Attached is a link that shows that the Myra Canyon will reopen this year, officially on July 6, 2008. I know we are planning to be there.
