Bike Forums - Updating a map while on tour

Hi all,

If you're like me, you like to update a map with the progress of your tour for your friends and family to see. This is something I've only been able to do whenever I found a computer with internet access. The silly thing is, my mobile phone has internet access, but there is no mapping site (that I'm aware of) that works with it.

A few weeks ago I started development on a website to solve this problem. It began as a project for myself for my upcoming summer tours, but quickly realized it could be made multiuser.

The usage of the site is basically like this:

Create a map before you leave on tour.
Give the map URL to your friends and family.
Bookmark the mobile-friendly "Add Waypoint" page for the map in your mobile phone.
Add waypoints with your mobile phone by copying the latitude and longitude from your GPS.

That's pretty much it. Click here to see a sample map from a day trip I did last week. Feel free to sign up and give the site a try, but keep in mind that it's still under development. This means you can expect to find bugs and usability issues that I haven't addressed yet.
