Maybe this is the wrong place to post this but I am new and dont really know where it would go. I live in Rexburg Idaho and I am planning a ride for the spring from Rexburg to Salt Lake City. DOes anyone have any good suggestions for routes? I would like to stay away from really busy roads and see some good scenery. I know it will be at least 250 miles so I dont want to overdo it with a bunch of mountain passes. Anyway, I really appreciate your advice. Thanks again.

I think touring is an appropriate forum to post this I just hope someone has that specialized knowledge.If you don't get a suitable response and Joe the forums owner doesn't see and respond you might try private messaging him this question as I believe he lives/lived around Salt Lake and could probably give you some ideas.

Sorry, I don't have any good routes for you, but I just had to say hey! I am living in North Carolina now, but I used to live in Rexburg. I am proud to say that I actually got kicked out of Ricks (now BYU-Idaho)...small world, eh?

Have you ever cycled the Teton pass (i think that is what it's called) over into Jackson Hole? this summer, I saw a fellow on a bike with a loaded trailer. he was still on the bike and pedaling like a mad man up at the top of the pass; i was very impressed!
