great news that he's back on the road there are nice people out there .there must be a better way of keeping your bike and stuff safe .

Another story like this happened in my city, a man had his bicycle stolen (I think he might have been from the UK, possibly) and people got together to buy him a new one.
I think that it humbles people to hear about brave souls who travel vast distances under their own power. I can promise you that you probably wouldn't hear as many stories about a public outpouring if that gentleman had been traveling by car.

Every day a winding road
Just when you start to lose your faith in humanity, someone turns around and restores it. Bad things happen for a reason, I am sure this man will remember all of those wonderful people for the rest of his life.

Funny how this is the reaction to most of us who get a bike stolen!
