A friend needs some help-->>
Trying to find a used or new old stock Cannondale T800(med or large frame-med preferred)complete bike for a friend who just had theirs removed from a lightpost in front of a deli. e.g. it got jacked.
She's completely heartbroken as it was her favorite ride and was purchased for her by her late father. She has had it since 1999 and logged 5000+miles on it only replacing the tires one time.
She now has no transportation and even though she can get a beater for 50 bucks she's desperate to get another T800... can't blame her for wanting what she's used to and what brings back special memories.
If anyone comes across one new or used please let me know via PM and I'll pass the info onto her. She said she'll pay for shipping too so the location of the bike doesn't matter.
Thieves are such heartless morons.

Thieves are morons...? That's putting it nicely. Don't know that I'll come across one, but I'll keep my eyes open. I'm currently riding a 2001 T-800 (the last one they made that year....got it right before it went to the paint booth - meaning I got to pick between the burnt yellow or green color....!). I've really come to like mine alot, don't really understand why I don't hear of more people singing their praises. Better than decent ride
!
I'm sorry for your friend. I've never suffered this problem and hopefully I won't ever, but you never know

I have a 1999 Cannondale T2000 (21 inch) that's for sale. I think it's the same frame as the T800. If your friend is interested, you can email me via this forum, and I can send you a picture, componentry specs, etc..
