I'll be posting a follow up next week, life has been rather chaotic since I've been back. In short, it was awesome, despite the insane weather I had to deal with.

Awesome fact: I had zero mechanical issues, not even a flat tire. Talk about amazing.

Sweet. That was one of the alternatives that I was looking at for my tour this summer. I've done the southern Superior coast, along M28 and US2 from Sault Ste Marie up to Duluth, but I need to do the northern coast one of these years.

Did you include the Keweenaw peninsula in your tour?

Awesome pictures! I used to live in Houghton and Sault Ste Marie. The difference between the American Soo and Canadian Soo always blew me away (speaking of geologic/topographic differences, but culturally also!).

The Keweenaw is one of the most beautiful places in the US, IMO. Hopefully the black flies didn't eat you alive.

Did you know that Betty Ford has a special program for Wisconsin folks?
It's called Cheese Curds Anonymous.

Loved the pix!
