HWY 2 in WA

Sorry to start another post, but I can't seem to edit hwy 20 out of the title of my other post. Anyone have suggestions on bicycling hwy 2 from Sandpoint to Seattle? Road info like shoulders or such.

Adventure Cycling Association's Northern Tier between Anacortes and Sandpoint follows Route 20 most of the way. So, that's probably the best route for biking between those 2 points.

Every year, the Cascade Bicycle Club in Seattle does a group ride to Vancouver, BC, called RSVP. The following link has its own link ("2008 RSVP Route Guide") to a map & cues.

It looks like route 2 intersects with the Centennial Trail. It's on map 1, which is on page 7 of the file. Eventually, you can get to the Burke-Gilman Trail into Seattle.
