Well I saw a thread in the commuting forum with the same title and thought it would be cool to see what names people have for their touring (or other) bikes and why.
I named my Trek 520 Madeleine after The Decemberists song "Apology Song". I got this song right before my first big tour in Europe and it clicked with me.
Anyone else?

I've always called my bike "Moon Tears" after the song by Nils Lofgrin (or his version, anyway).

My Touring bike is Tara (short) or Tarahumara. Refers to the Goddess of travel... also the name of a south american tribe who's people run ultra-marathon distances on a regular basis. you know, to gossip! and ask neighbors to borrow a cup of sugar.
