I don't stretch in the mornings, but if my legs are sore at night I will do a little strecthing then. But nothing serious.
I've traveled with people who were crazy stretchers. They wouldn't get on the bike in the morning until they had stretched for 10 minutes and as soon as they pulled into camp at night they would get out there little sleep mats and stretch again.
I just don't like people looking at me when I'm stretching. I think it's kind of funny to watch someone stretch.

No, never. I've never stretched before any sport I've played my whole life, including some pretty aggressive ones like squash, etc. I never stretch before a ride. With any sport, I just start out slowly until I warm up doing it. Never had a problem.
But I do stretch by itself a few times per week just to help maintain good flexibility and muscle tone. Not too much, just a few minutes.
