trek panniers

had a bit of a problem with my trek panniers, i believe they are the interchange type with the center clip that attaches to the rack. on each of mine that clip snapped off as i was taking them off. aside from that, i actually thought they were very good panniers, had no other problems with them, kept everything dry, loads of space, good balance, external pockets, etc. just that broken clip.

just wondering if anyone else had the same problem with them or if it's just me.

also, if anyone is thinking of taking a tour to estonia, latvia, or sweden let me know if you need any information.

A friend of mine has them. I don't recall him having a problems with the clip. They are a bit on the small side but adequate for credit card touring. All in all they seem like very nice bags.

Is the clip replaceable? If so, have you tried contacting Trek?
