Getting a custom touring frame
The thought has been floating around in the back of my head for quite awhile to get a custom touring frame. The urge to ride slow and enjoy the sights has been growing lately so I've decided to sell my Orbea and get a custom. I have lots of back and knee problems so I figure it would be my best shot at having pain free riding. I thought about Waterford, Bilenky, Sadillah and Tom Palermo. I decided to go with Palermo as he is a local and I've had good experiences in dealing with him in the past for frame repairs. He recently built a touring bike for another customer and I thought it came out great. The build pictures are here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/palermo...7604792230838/
Just to be clear, these aren't pictures of my frame, just one he recently made

Congratulations; that's a great-looking bike. The build pictures are very interesting...
