Axiom "Journey" Rack

I have a 2009 Trek 520. It came with a stock rack, but is rated at 50lbs. I want to get an Axiom Journey, but am not sure it will fit. I e-mailed Axiom, and the response was that it should fit, but take the bike to my LBS and where their rack is sold to have it fitted.

I can't find an LBS in my area that sells it. Does anyone out there have experience with this rack??

Thank you.

I have one, I see no reason it wouldn't fit. Looks like you won't be out more than 30-35 bucks with shipping, so its no great loss if it doesnt work. It should though, I've had it on a crosscheck, an old french roadbike, and an old Panasonic mtb with no problems.

I have one bolted to my 85 Miyata 1000 and I had to drill out the mounting holes to take the 6mm bolts. Other then that it works fine.
