ACA map update schedule

Does anybody have an inside view of the schedule of ACA map updates? I can't find much on the ACA web site. They tell me how to figure out what the update date is if I have a map in my hand. They also tell me that they update the maps every 1.5 to 2 years or so. But they don't tell me what the latest update date of a given map is, nor the schedule for the next update.

I'm particularly interested in when the TA maps were last updated, and when they might be next updated.

The FAQ page advises you to wait as long as you can before your trip to buy so that you get the latest maps, but there's no sense waiting any longer than necessary if they aren't going to be updated again before you go.

And yes, I know about the addenda, but it's always better to have the map itself as up-to-date as possible.

Thanks.

EDIT: If I look at the addenda, I can see that the latest TA addenda is for the "08" version of the TA maps (for many sections--some sections still have an "07" date). So it looks like it was last updated sometime in 2008 (or, if updated since then, there are no addenda for the newer versions yet). That's good information, but I'd still like to know if they have a schedule for the next update (of course they must have a schedule internally, but how public is that schedule?).

Maybe email or call them? I wish they published that kind of info, but if they do I have never found it.

If you get an answer elsewhere let us know.
