ACA maps on Goggle earth

This guy's site is pretty bad booty!!

I have already spent 3 hours on the Southern Tier.

On the ACA site you can get the GPS waypoint files for free. They say that the waypoint files are a nice supplement to the paper maps but unlike the paper maps they aren't really very good as a sole navigational aid and don't give anywhere near as much detail.

All this guy has done is combine the section waypoint files together for each route. Very handy for looking at the route in Google Earth.

Yeah, I've looked at their GPS files before.

These maps are great! I've often wondered about how the routes cross certain areas. I've already killed 4 hours between last night and this morning checking out areas I wondered about.

With these, I can start planning my Northern Tier to Illinois, MRT south to Trans Am, TransAm west to Oregon route!
