May 14 start date
Three of us are leaving River Falls, WI on May 14 to follow the Mississippi river down the WI side, cross into Iowa, and follow the river back north. Six days are allotted for this journey. And it is the first self supported trip for one of us. Getting excited! My only worry is I do not have as many miles in my legs this year as I would like. That may make it a little harder than past years. I am doing a quick over nighter next week, just to refresh before the real trip.

dannwilliams, do you know a Christoper? He's a cycle tourist who's spending the summer in River Falls. I met him at the bike co-op here in NOLA. I'm hoping to visit Minneapolis and River Falls around second week of June. Maybe we can meet up for a ride?
