Single rail, double rail seats?

What's the difference? Every seat I've seen, and I have two Brooks, attaches the same way to the bike. Is there more than one way? If so, does anyone have a picture?

Yes, there are other ways, but they are not that common. Brooks have double and triple rail systems.

And there are other even less common, like the flat rails on some Ideale saddles. Sorry, I can't find a picture of those.
