Has anyone had any experience with these Trekking bars? given how many bikes I own I find that one handle bar is...well..just like the next handle bar. Just want to know if there's something extr special/aweful about them. Im mainly intrested in these because I can get these at cost through my suppliers Im a cheap guy. Or if someone knows of some other easy to find cheap trekking bars thatd be great.

I bought a black pair from a shop in the UK, after mounting them on my bike I noticed something didn't look right with the spacing of the brake levers, after lots of messing about & measuring I found the inner two bends were not symmetrical, about half an inch out, thought the outer bends were the same.

I notified the UK shop who I bought them from, they said they would contact the supplier. The outcome was while they acknowledged that other bars in stock were not quite symmetrical, they argued that they were only a fraction out & it didn't matter!!!!!

They offered to send me another pair on the return of mine, I'm in Spain, it would have cost me about the price of the bars in postage, I argued it's not my fault so should not have to pay shipping but to no avail, so I eventually gave up.

I've ridden about 2K miles with these bars & I love them, but obviously check to see if the ones you buy are symmetrical or not!
