True that. I used a B17 on the Ride:Well cross-country tour (check it out, they're awesome) and loved the comfort, but for a while I felt like I was sitting on the rail that the rivets attach to on the back. It was uncomfortable. But then I raised my handlebars and raised the nose a bit and things became much more comfortable. I still wish it went back farther, though. I might try a Cardiff someday to see if it helps.

That being said, the B17 is on my commuter now and I love it. It's pretty, too.

Bikes: Co-Motion Nor'wester Tour

Selle SMP TRK on the tourer, Selle SMP Extra on the road bike. Both work great for me.

I am always amazed at these saddle threads. Saddle choice just isn't a big deal to me. In a few hundred miles I can adjust to most performance saddles, so I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Terry Mens Liberator. It fits my wide sits bones and has a good balance of support and cushion. Your buttocks may vary.
