Philadelphia to Los Angeles

I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it all the same. I'll match my partners pace (I'm pretty confident in my strength) but prefer to do the standard 50-100 miles a day.

If anyone is interested in a coast to coast tour for next year, send me a message or post here.
I'm planning a ride across the US east to west from Philadelphia or New Jersey to Los Angeles, CA. I'm looking to leave early June. Maybe we could ride some of the way. You can message me if you'd like.

The Fine Print: We'll be starting May 1, so we'll have plenty of time to cross the country in nice weather, and we'll have light support from the company as well! They will be bringing along some sammiches and breakfast, and providing mechanical support.

Tony,
We'll be seeing you going the other direction. We're leaving Yorktown on 4 May. We're unsupported though, so I'm sure we'll be a bit slower.

Is this trip you're planning supported or unsupported?

I too like the idea of companion(s) sub-site here at BF. I have been exploring xUSA tour myself and am planning late Summer/early Fall 2011 start date, Southern Tier.

I am watching AdvCycling and CrazyGuy sites looking for options, planing to post my own invite.

I think that a "sub-site" in this Touring section of BF is needed to assist communication on this subject!

Thanks for the post!
