I retire in 2 weeks from today, Sunday Sept 26, and am leaving after work on the 24th (I don't work weekends) for Bali, where a 6 month bike tour will start. My longest tour thus far has been 3 weeks so it will be interesting to see how it is to go for such a long time. I am retiring at age 50 and although I have everything figured out that I can live on my pension it is still sort of scary as I get closer to the day to give up a great job that I have done for such a long time, and have enjoyed doing. But I think I'll get over the scary stuff pretty quick.
