Touring on Allez Triple

ok guys i have a 2004 Specialized Allez Triple, and i was just woundering if i wanted to do some on road touring, could I just hook a BOB yak up to it and take off, or would some modifications be necessary? I wouldent really want to use painners on it cause the bike is fairly light, and I kinda dont trust the wheels. Also what do u guys think of the xtracycle, it looks kinda cool, but ive heard some people talking trash on it

The BOB should be just fine with your bike. Straight hook-up with provided skewer.
If you have an old Mtb laying around, you can always xtracycle it....and that'll be cool.

Hi,
I do lite touring. You could get a huge English saddle bag (check the Rivendell website, they used to have them, prob still do) and a large handlebar bag; and do lite touring. Your traveling weight will
be 40-60 pouns less than a trailer. You get to sleep in beds, and you don't have to cook. Works for me.
