Get a Carradice saddlebag and a handlebar bag. What kind of load are you going to be carrying? Between a big saddlebag and a big handlebar bag, you can fit a lot of stuff. Though I'm not sure how that will affect your bike's handling.

Yeah, I am just going to be carrying my Ultralite Backpacking gear (<15lbs with food), some tools, spare tire, extra chain, etc. I think I could do just fine with the handlebar bag and a saddlebag. So this is what I will make first and then make a frame bag for the heck of it. The frame bag sounds nice, because the load will be distributed in a better way, as far as handling goes.

Did Epic Designs change their name to Revelate Designs? I am not going to buy one, since I can easily make these bags. But the more pictures I can find the easier time I will have designing them.

Epic is Revelate, due to a certain big bike company that begins with 'S' telling them to change it up or face the lawyers...

Here's a few threads on bikepacking.net about DIY bags:

Frame bags seem like the could be handy - but remembering a few days last summer of 70+ miles with steady 20-30mph crosswinds make me worry that I would blow entirely across the state of Illinois if I was using one.
