The Welch Allyn bulb is the industry standard for HID bike lights, including Cat Eye, Night Sun and Night Rider. I've been using one for at least three years now.

tthose pics seem pretty bright the Lumicycle 5W MR11 Spot looks brighter then any halogen at 20 watts I have seen.

Bikes: 1 road bike (simple, light), 1 TT bike (could be more aero, could be lighter), 1 all-weather commuter and winter bike, 1 Monark 828E ergometer indoor bike

The Aufa one looks best to me. Or the Lumicycle.
Not the brightest, but the most evenly spread.
