Hey Everyone!

I'm going to be riding my bicycle from SF to LA in 2 weeks. I wanted to ask here if anyone would like to join me! Or better yet, if anyone is taking a trip around that time, can I join you?

I am basically following "Bicycling the Pacific Coast" and have maps from the adventure cycling association.

I plan to stay at hiker/biker sites along state parks; hoping for 10 days at ~50miles/day, starting June 16 and ending in LA June 26.

I am going to stay with family in LA 2 weeks following the trip, and will drive back up to SF July 9th.

Ultimately I'm looking for a partner to ride with all (or part!) of the route. If you have some friends/family in LA area and don't mind waiting until July 9th I can drive you back to SF =).

I'm super-interested. I have a party to attend on the 18th in Santa Cruz, so I'll be leaving from SF on the 14th.

What are the chances that you'd be able to leave on the 14th instead? I'm aiming for more than 50 miles/day (about 75), but I figure that there's enough sunlight that there are plenty of hours to get the miles in in a leisurely fashion ...
