I dont get it. I dont think a trans am trip is "record" anything. A perimeter trip? i guess you would actually have to go around the perimeter first.

Paul will be attempting to break a world record by cycling the perimeter of the United States in under 180 days.
However I don't know if you have to do a real perimiter or not, I noticed that he did miss out around the great lakes.
