Man this thread is inspiring. Not like we aren't already motivated to go on tour.
First photo is on the Fortine Cr Rd in MT. 2nd is on the GDMBR by Spray Lake. The last, a yard sale on the KVR by Chute Lake. Different tents in all of them. The middle one is our Marmot Bise 3p and works great for two.

Hey, I have one of those! Love it! Yours is the only other one I`ve ever seen and don`t think they offer the model any more. Don`t remember what I paid for mine, but undoubtedly less than $50. Here it is with The Mighty Schwinn near Bridgeport, CA. Then my Quarterdome T2 at an overpriced and overcrowded campground at the south end of Lake Tahoe. I use the QD when there`s a high probablility that I`ll find myself holed up in the tent. If it`s "just in case", the Coleman is about the same weight, but more compact.

I use a really roomy coleman 2 person tent from their Exponent line.
That photo shows about everything I carry except for clothes.

Tarptent Hogback, a great ultralight tent for the whole family. Two adults, two kids and all our gear (8 panniers) fit into the tent. The tent is also light and compact enough to take it for backpacking trips.
This campsite was our best one along the Katy trail in the town Hartsburg. It was free, clean trail head restrooms, gazebo (rain shelter if needed) and playground near by.
Playgrounds are always great to have near by but these sprinklers ...
... there were closer ones and I didn't find out till middle in the night. (Marthasville, $10 with access to showers, also had a large covered area with concrete floor, hint: where there is grass the sprinklers will reach it)

I'd say it's a little safer to have the bike close to the tent, also the things one can do when one is tired.
