If you're best picture is of high quality and features the loaded touring bike (no rider), you should consider submitting it to the new version of what was The Fully Loaded Touring Bike - Photo Gallery. Now The Loaded Touring Bike - Photo Gallery. www.loadedtouringbikes.com
My best photo? There are waaay too many. Here's a recent one.

Mind if I show this in my meteorology class, with attribution, of course? Not only is it pretty, but it's a great visual for showing how strongly cloud formation depends on altitude, and especially interesting because it's from the above-cloud perspective, yet taken from land.

Derailed, lots of great pics in this thread. Somehow, and I'm not sure why, yours rises to the top for me. Maybe the simplicity of the scene, the fog, the time of day, IDK. I'm impressed that you recognized it as photo worthy. 'Fraid I'd have just pedaled onward.

The bike photo gallery I've edited for years has always featured one photograph including a person in it, the header for the home page. Always featuring my wife riding on some inspirational stretch of road. I've often considered how to include some of these type of images in the regular gallery. I'm going to go ahead with this feature.
There are some great examples of what I'm talking about in this thread. After every 10 bicycle photographs, I'll insert 1 image similar to what's seen in posts 6, 11, 17, 18 and 34 of this thread. A great shot of a person riding down the road on a loaded touring bike, in an inspirational setting, somewhat in the distance or from behind if close to keep it somewhat anonymous.
Get in on it!

There were two from Japan that I just couldn't split. In fact, I could this fill entire thread with pics from Japan. These two were both taken on the same day (probably only about 90 minutes apart), near Shirakawa-Go, where I got hit by a typhoon.

Ask me again in 10 minutes, and I'll have a different "all time favourite".

Bikes: Schwinns, lots of them. Some Paramounts
Not a "best picture" by any means, but certainly old.
My friends Pierce and Jack, March 1972. Spring break from High School. We wandered around Southwestern Indiana for several days on our touring bicycles. (Mostly in the rain)
Pierce was riding a Schwinn Super Sport, Jack a Schwinn Continental and I had a Yellow/black Motobecane Grand Record.
