Here we go again...
Trekking bars.
I love the concept and have two to mount.
What am I gonna do about shifters? Thumbs?
My Indexes just look STUPID hanging out in free space.
I heard that bar cons ( right term?) work pretty well.
I'm vain enough to like some sembalance of finish.
I do all my own wrenching and fab work so...
Help me out of the analysis paralysis PLEASE!

It doesn't bug me to have the cables from my brifters head out into space toward each other, if that's what you are talking about. It's not like anything will probably hit them.
Take less stuff than you find, if you find too much to haul.
Are you a Gordon Lightfoot fan, or was he talking about a previous story with his song?
"Papa Toad said you had best get it right
When Papa Toad spoke it was not a pretty sight."
