I was wondering just about a month go about where the biking term "Fred" originated and stumbled into the bio of this fascinating man. I was happy to know he was still alive. What an amazing life he had!

I went to school at UGA, traveled across Europe on a bicycle, and became a lawyer. And somehow I only learned about this guy recently.
He lived a good life. And now he is with God. For a Christian, death is gain.
