I'll keep this post short. I'm typing with one hand. Between my right forearm and right knee I have about 2 dozen sutures from a bike crash last Thursday. I would point out the merits of wearing a helmet, but I don't want to get too far OT or start a helmet vs non-helmet discussion. Damn road bike anyway

The neoprene sleeves are still working well. And I'm still using mine as a mouse pad when it is not on the computer.

I must say I ended up buying one before I left for my trip, pretty much a dry trip, to the midwest back in August. I have used mine quite a bit, more so here around NH then on the bike trip. I always kept the laptop in the sleeve but since it was dry all but two days of the trip it never really got tested. I've been out in rain and snow since I got back and it always seems to work well. I always, rain or shine, keep my laptop in leaf/trash bag just in case and when I know its going to be raining then I pull out and use the neoprene sleeve. It's a great idea for protection.
