I've never used the Burley, but did tour for a while with a different 2-wheel trailer. We opted to ditch the trailer and load everything on my bike because of the 2 wheels - I had to ride so far out in the road it didn't feel safe.
I used the ExtraWheel for about 5000 miles from Alaska to New Mexico and loved it. I wrote a series of reviews here: 1000 miles and 3000 miles My primary complaints have now been addressed when they ditched the big drybags and made it so you can use panniers on it.
Then I switched to a BOB and carried that for the next 12,000 miles to Argentina. The BOB is durable, but can't come close to the ExtraWheel in terms of maneuverability. I've compared the BOB vs ExtraWheel here.
If I were to do another big tour, I would take the ExtraWheel. It's an awesome trailer.
