My first taste of touring
My wife and I just finished our first short tour. 100 miles of Colorado and spring time camping. We met some great characters took our time to enjoy the sights and sounds. I found that from a bike your perspective is so much different then in a car, we loved every minute of it and can wait to do it again.
Thanks for letting me share! http://www.flickr.com/photos/mburges...7633543033482/ |
Nice tatoos on your legs! :) That looks like a fun trip you had.

Looks like a fun trip! Great weather and beautiful scenery.

Nice glasses. :)

Nice photos!
How did you mount the water bottle? I looks like it's kind of clamps. |

Those are great pics and thanks for sharing them. It's obvious you both had a great time. I'm wondering which direction your trip went--clockwise or counter?
My good friend Paul and I started a little tour from Sedalia a couple years ago and headed up Rt. 67 to Deckers. What an "exciting" way to begin a tour! (It's a beastly climb.) From Deckers, however, we headed north toward Buffalo Creek and found ourselves in Montana a few weeks later! So, what's next on your bike touring to-do list? Ted |
This Forum should have a warning lable:
Warning: Bike touring is addictive! Good job, and nice photos. |
Nice pics; what kind of bikes did you ride?

Great photos and on C&V bikes also. Very nice. Besides the Schwinn what's the other bike?
|
We set out from woodland park I tried to give my wife the down hill experience even though it was a hard clime from deckers to rampart road.
