My first taste of touring

My wife and I just finished our first short tour. 100 miles of Colorado and spring time camping. We met some great characters took our time to enjoy the sights and sounds. I found that from a bike your perspective is so much different then in a car, we loved every minute of it and can wait to do it again.

Thanks for letting me share!

Nice photos!
How did you mount the water bottle? I looks like it's kind of clamps.

Those are great pics and thanks for sharing them. It's obvious you both had a great time. I'm wondering which direction your trip went--clockwise or counter?

My good friend Paul and I started a little tour from Sedalia a couple years ago and headed up Rt. 67 to Deckers. What an "exciting" way to begin a tour! (It's a beastly climb.) From Deckers, however, we headed north toward Buffalo Creek and found ourselves in Montana a few weeks later!

So, what's next on your bike touring to-do list?

Great photos and on C&V bikes also. Very nice. Besides the Schwinn what's the other bike?

She was on a 80s Tekara Tribute. I did learn my lesson if we are going to keep this up smaller chain rings on the front might help, they're stock ten speed gearing.
