Aiming to promote bicycle travel through internet video. Check out my first attempt!
Hi fellow tourists.
Not enough people realize that long distance, multi-day, bike camping is even a thing!
Please check out my video aimed at inspiring non-tourists.
This was a self-supported 3 day tour in Prince Edward Country area of Southern Ontario, Canada. We stayed at Sandbanks Provincial Park and even met a solo female tourist who joined us for the rest of the trip (it was her first tour and now she's hooked).
This tour, for me, served as a dry run to discover just how difficult it is to carry a full set of video production gear on a bike. On Sunday I will be flying to DC from Toronto to do a self-supported solo tour from DC back to Toronto via the C&O and GAP. Filming will be a little more interesting riding alone. I'm thinking Les Stroud of "Survivorman" style but with less survival and more biking.
If you like the video please follow me on Vimeo so you can be alerted when my DC video is posted. That should be sometime in September.

Thanks for watching!
