Help me pick the best GPS for my needs
So I'm planning a tour this summer that takes me from Toronto to New Orleans. Ive already created the route that I'd like to take using MapMyRide so at this point Im just looking for a device that will let me download that map into the unit and allow me to track my progress.
Alternatively I would also accept a GPS that comes with a computer based client that I could re-create my route on and then download it to the device. Basically I just dont want to have to use a product that makes me input my start point and destination and then decides my route for me.
Thanks in advance, hopefully Im not double posting here, I searched the forum and couldn't find anything that answered my questions.

Any Garmin Oregon, Dakota, or Etrex 20/30, 62, or Montana. You can use the free BaseCamp software to make a route, or mapmyride, then export the route to your unit (usually in the form of a gpx file). Free maps are available for the units (or you can buy City Navigator from Garmin) and you can export routes to the unit. The points of interest on a GPS unit are really handy, say you want to find the nearest CVS store.
