Novara Randonee Bike - 2014 at REI.com

Think I will go grab one then use the 20% off members sale for something else..
Just be aware that you won't earn a 10% dividend on any item with a price that ends in $.73, $.83, $.93, or $._9 or anything discounted more than 15%. More details on the REI dividend page. The bike is still a great deal, though...

Ya I just saw that..

It's still a killer deal though..

*10% is typical but not guaranteed. Your refund is based on eligible purchases, which exclude REI-OUTLET.com items (prices ending in $.73), sale items (prices ending in $._9) and clearance items (prices ending in $.93 or $.83), items discounted 15% or more, gift cards, REI Adventures trips, REI Outdoor School classes and outings, sales tax, postage, mounting, engraving, labor, rental fees, lift tickets, government agencies and membership fee.

It is!

Last week when I asked the bike shop mechanic at our local REI if the Randonee was going to be included in this upcoming sale, she said that she wasn't sure but they were getting 11 of them in this week, and smiled.

It has always been their policy that no dividends would be paid on sale items, nothing new or tricky.

Enjoy.

Sweet! Ya I am going to wait until Friday to go get it (fingers crossed they still have the XL in stock) as that way I can also grab up a bunch of gear for it during the member sale.. One trip to get a TON of stuff...

I just called a local REI and the Randonee sale price as listed today is not a part of the member sale, it's just a regular ole sale item, or that's what he said at least..

I have nothing touring related right now so I will also be snarfing up:

Panniers for the front and back
Front rack
Fenders

At some point I also need to snag a different saddle, a tent, sleeping bag, lights and other touring related items..

Not a problem in my area, Oly bikes , around 30 miles from my home, has a complete range of Surly LHT to demo, and recently a LBS even closer has opened that carries the Surly brand, but I'm not sure if they will have much variety in size yet.
