It is really poor forum etiquette to hijack someone else's thread.

I really don't mind, and don't consider it hijacking if you stay on the original topic, more or less.

OMG, I've highjacked your thread. My sincere apologies! I'll go quietly to my room and ponder my transgression. Get a life, Spinnaker!

We will be riding the Montour trail in two weeks with the Rails to Trails Sojourn ride and will be riding through Glassport and McKeesport. Wondering how bad the traffic is through these two towns, whether the trail is well marked to get onto the GAP, and need recommendations where to get lunch. Other tips/suggestions on riding the trail would be appreciated.

Signage is pretty good on the ground; there are signs with maps, and the trails are generally well marked. Traffic on the parts of the trail that use existing roads is mostly non existent because it is largely an industrial area. Having said that there are some wide unmarked roads which means when there is a vehicle it may be going fast if it weren't for the condition of the road which is sometimes in poor repair. If there is anywhere you could hit a pot hole, pick up a bit of glass or metal in your tire this is it.
