Tire Load.
Quick question. I am looking at tires here: Schwalbe Marathon Plus HS 440 (Wire Bead Tire), Tires / Tubes / Liners, 11100756/772Bicycle Touring & Camping Gear with Forum, Articles, Reviews, Information, Advice, and Tips.+++ and each one has a load capacity in lbs. I was wondering if that is for 1 tire or both? I weight 265 lbs, plus the bike and camping gear. I am assuming it is a rating for just 1 tire. So if it says 220lbs then 2 of them could support up to 440 lbs., right?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Only if you have equal loads on the front and rear wheels. Usually the rear wheel of a bicycle has considerably more load on it than the front, but you could help equalize the load if you put your heavier gear in front panniers
