From East to West Completed
Hey all,
Just wanted to give everyone updates on my trip across country. It was an impactful journey and one I'll never forget. I ended up meeting lots of people along the way, get hosted and meet a guy who I became friends with forever. I wanted to share the blog I built for my friends and family to keep in touch with me and share my story. You can check out the post from beginning with the latest at the top of the blog www.ManualPedal.com. I haven't posted my California experience yet but will be next week. I hope you all can get a closer look of the land through the images and recorded video.

Congratulations! It seems like just a couple of weeks ago you were coming through my neighborhood. You must have made good time.

Wow, that was a great blog. The pictures are great and I love the videos too! Very nice job. I am contemplating a cross country trip myself once I retire (3 years) and it's nice to see these sort of stories. Well done.

From: Currently living in Oakdale, CA about 20 mi. NE of Modesto in the hot central valley.
Bikes: Surly LHTD with a YAK trailer. I may have to ditch the trailer and go to panniers but I'll give it a try and see what happens.
OK BlackGuy, where did you land in CA? If you're anywhere near Modesto I'd like to connect up with you and maybe pick your brain for ideas about my tour next year.

Thanks to everyone for checking it out, appreciate the kind words... Louis Le Tour I'm currently back home in New York. I'd be glad you help out if you have any questions. However, I still have lot's to learn and I got most of my help here on BikeForums and research. PM me anytime! I also made a short film about this trip and just posted it in a new thread. You can check it out here as well... East To West | Manual Pedal. Hope you all enjoy it.
