On the Mechanics forum a lot of guys, that I've learned to trust, say that the problem with slime is the higher pressures that the more narrow tire run it. Air pressure forces it out before it can work. I guess folks that have success with it are using wider and lower pressured tires.

Because of those posts I've never used it in a bike tire.
