As to Hoogland's performances in the Sprint event, it is likely about some centimeters for him to be overshadowed by Lavreisen. Sprint final at the Tokyo Olympics was the very Clash of the Titans.
Both rode 9.215, OR, in the qualification. In the final, Hoogland lost by Lavreisen just in the decider.
