I've since replaced the white clinchers on my Concept with black tubulars... yay for tubulars on the track :)

My friend is letting me ride his Cervelo P3 track bike this weekend. I am afraid I am going to fall in love.

Here is a picture of the actual frame:
http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d.../mycervelo.jpg It is pretty easy to finish the build. Easton Aerobars, Easton EC90 track bar, Sugino 75 cranks and bottom bracket and front trispoke and rear disc for racing. A set of most anything wheels for training. For gearing, I am getting 47, 48 and 49 chain rings and 14, 15 and 16 rear gears to start. |

It's pretty simple compared to what is posted on here, but I'm happy with it.

Wait a minute-- is that a BIOPACE ring???? That is pure craziness if it is!
|
Yes and yes.I do sprint tri's but, Next year I get a bike for the velodrome.

How is your chain tension? It MUST be going tight-loose-tight-loose, right? Might be a tad dangerous, especially seeing as you don't have a brake to back you up if the chain jumps off.
|
Hahaha, what was it like meeting Hoy?
Christ, those quads.... |
Alex - great photo.
Here's a 1960 Malvern Star. Winning bike in the Austral Wheelrace of that year (Australia's premier track race). Campy equipped. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...4/DSC00209.jpg |
Very classy Gary!
Chris Hoy was an absolute superstar, he was in the studio for 4 hours and he was such a nice, down to earth guy (with the most freakin' ridiculous legs!), believe me, photos and telly don't do the size of them justice! |

This is probably the closet I'll ever get to a P3 Track. Took me about a week in CAD to draw this puppy up. Love it.
