Yeah, it's going to be NJS, and it's also being made by Colnago. You can get the frameset only but for an upcharge (admittedly, an expensive one) you can get a complete bike equipped with the Campagnolo Keirin Pista groupset.

What makes you think this? Anyone have the geometry? Some "real" track bikes are drilled for brakes.

The thing that makes me think that this is formost for the street and not the track is the fact that Specialized already makes a fine track frame, the S-Works Langster, and as much as the people in FGSS talk about 'hitting the track', no one actually does. Selling a track frame meant for racing is still a very niche-y market slice and not likely to be easily profitable.

The smarter business route is to make a street frame and pump up the velodrome dreams of the buying audience without actually facilitating them. (It's a proven marketing strategy, just ask Ferrari about their buyers' F1 dreams or Harley about their buyers' leather-clad sociopath dreams.)

It's now on the Specialized website.
I DON"T like it for the track. As compaired to the 2009 S-Works.....slack angles, long wheel base, and a bottom bracket drop of a whole cm more. No thanks.

I have not experienced any flex on a Nitto 75 stem with 123AA bars.
Neither have the pro keirin guys who let me work out with them.
That said NJS stuff is all about licensing and ensuring that no rider is limited or advantaged by equipment. The standard is older than you are and there is no claim within the standard as to the quality of the manufacture aside from it meeting some ISO reqs for bike parts.

I don't understand why US folks have such *****s for NJS gear. If I could I'd be riding an Anchor CF frame and using modern equipment but since I am riding on a Keirin track at the invite of Keirin guys I bought an all NJS bike from them to comply with the safety regulations. YMMV depending on where you live, who you know and who you blow to get onto the track.

That said, you must be one big mother to be flexing a Nitto stem.
Not sure how you would flex a Hatta Swan headset either.

p.s. - I know you were taking the piss dude, relax. I'm just bored and sore from racing this weekend.

NJS became popular in the hipster community because it was:
- Foriegn
- Rare
- High Quality
- Old/Vintage style (or actually old)
- Expensive

These qualities make ANYTHING in the hipster world popular, be it bikes, vinyl records, clothing, clothing accessories, motorcycles, scooters...
