I know it's pretty new out there but does anyone have any real ride feedback on this frame?
For the price point I think this new AL frame is a pretty decent offering I could see myself saving for.

I posted a review over on Velospace. Do a search for "Cervelo T1 Review Velospace" and it will show up.

Haha. Weight is pretty much meaningless on the track.

Let's just say, it's heavier than nearly all popular road frames, and heavier than most similar aluminum and some steel track frames.

However, it rides like a dream and is much faster than any other bike I've ridden.

Awesome thanks, with a velodrome being built somewhere nearby for the 2015 Pan-Ams, I want a dedicated track bike for when the games are over.

I think the velodrome will be in hamilton which is kind of unfortunate. Would be much cooler in Toronto. Has the location changed?

They are still considering their options. Some folks say we should use our existing 8 lane track @ U of T for running, build the velodrome in Toronto and build Hamilton a new soccer venue. That way less atletetes will commute from Toronto, a new running track venue won't need to be built, as well the new soccer pitch can be used by Hamilton's team. There are so many more possible users of the velodrome here in Toronto after the Games.

It would be way better in Toronto but I'd buy monthly GO passes if it does end up in the Hammer.

And yeah, the T1 is fly as hell.

I spoke to my buddy that works @ Cervelo this weekend, he said the frame is stiff as hell.

@Traffic Jammer

That plan definitely makes more sense. I was wondering why they weren't going to use Varsity Stadium for track and field events (maybe that's why they are resurfacing it right now after being open for only 2-3 years). I'm guessing the venue they wanted to build in Scarborough must have had more seating. IMO having a velodrome in To would likely attract way more cyclist making the facility more financially viable. But then again, I'm a little biased
