I'm curious why you come across so confrontational? I pointed out that I 'hadn’t found' a negative study. Obviously I had looked. I also stated I was open to reading one if someone had one. I agree with you that taking too much of anything can be harmful, I have posted that 'loading' isn’t necessary and that 5g a day is all you need. I have also posted that Creatine isn’t something you take perpetually, it needs to be cycled.
I truly am interested in reading a documented study showing ill effects or personal examples directly related to creatine supplementation which is why I posted and read this thread to begin with.

Dont take it more then 3 months at a stretch, take at least one month off. I use it during the winter where I concentrate more on lifting then I do riding. I'm currently using up the last of a tub I have then probably wont use again until Oct.

Dosing article
Creatine cycles
To paraphrase these and other articles, you want to have a period of not taking any to reduce any posible negative effects. Just a safety precaution. There arent any 20+ year studies yet so better safe then sorry.

Most everything is safe when taken at recommended levels. Taking twice the recommended amount and inadequate hydration was what got ephedra pulled off the market.
