The Hidden Path

I've been on a low carb diet for 4 years but as I've progressed I've found that there were some small points
I overlooked that were very important (hence the title hidden path):

1) I didn't realize a high carb break (like having a high carb weekend) stops ketosis and it requires a week or so
to get keto adapted again.

2) I was eating too much protein (more than 20%). I found a link that explained too much protein gets converted to
glucose by the liver.

3) Not enough salt. Apparently a high carb diet makes you retain salt but in a low carb diet your kidneys clear salt very efficiently and its easy (if you avoid salt like I did) to get low in sodium; the symptoms include headache and general fatigue.

Is there anything else I missed? I'm very committed to doing this right. Thanks in advance.

Charlie

PS I'm only interested in helpful tips on lowcarb/ketosis.
